BBQ Beef Roast
BBQ beef is simple and great tasting! This recipe was made for brisket, but we found it to work great with a beef chuck roast to make shredded beef BBQ.

Ingredients

  • (3 - 4 lbs.) Chuck or Arm Roast
  • (2) Garlic cloves (minced)
  • (1/2 C.) Apple Cider Vinegar
  • (1 1/2 C.) Ketchup
  • (1/4 C.) Maple Syrup
  • (1 Tbsp.) Worcestershire Sauce
  • (2 1/2 tsp.) Pepper
  • (1 tsp.) Salt
  • (1/2 tsp.) Cumin
  • (1 tsp.) Garlic Powder
  • (3 tsp.) Onion Powder (or a handful or so of diced onion)
  • (2 1/2 tsp.) Mustard Powder
  • (2 tsp.) Paprika
  • (1 tsp.) Cayenne (adjust to taste)

Directions

  1. Make BBQ sauce in crockpot.
  2. Place roast in crockpot and cover with sauce.
  3. Set to low all day (8-10 hours).
  4. Shred beef with fork and enjoy plain or on your favorite sourdough bread.
